Studio Note: I am a Visual Collaborator

I am making a shift in my work. As the founder of The Social Art Complex, I am moving beyond visual scribing (aka graphic recording) to work as a visual collaborator.

Why I am making this shift

I am getting very clear about the work I do best and what feels most satisfying to me. That work is creating an around-the-room visual experience.

That means going beyond capturing what is said in the room. It means working with you to create banners, illustrations, slide decks, murals, exhibits, and knowledge walls, and helping shape the overall visual experience of an event instead of only scribing or recording it.

What this means for my current offerings

I will continue to offer digital scribing. I can scribe for you online, virtually, or remotely, as well as in person. Digital scribing is essentially live drawing using a drawing application and graphic design software.

Analog scribing, which is done on paper, will be limited going forward, but it will remain available in the DMV: Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland. For those beyond the DMV, availability will be limited, and I will review each request case by case.
