April and Mark came to me looking for more than traditional book illustrations. They wanted someone to listen to the stories, understand the ideas connecting them, and capture those ideas through visual scribing.

Knowledge lives everywhere. It lives in conversations, documents, meetings, memories, programs, shared drives, relationships, and the experience of people doing the work every day. But when that knowledge is scattered, siloed, or hard to find, it can become difficult to make decisions, onboard others, transfer what people know, or prepare for what comes next.

Process mapping is necessary for running a business, organization, program, or team. We all have processes, procedures, routines, and ways of working. When we map those processes, we can see what is happening, where gaps exist, and where there may be opportunities to improve.
